If you run a small business, taking time out to educate yourself can be a luxury. That’s why we wanted to make sure you know about the Microsoft Small Business Summit 2008, which runs March 24-27.
The nice thing about the Small Business Summit is that you don’t have to drive somewhere to catch the topics such as new marketing tactics or expert advice on how to ride out today’s rough economic climate.
Just log onto your computer at work and click on the live broadcast. Or, you can catch a replay, at your convenience, if the live presentation is at a time that doesn’t work for you. Registration is free.
The Summit features four days of speakers all focused on topics relevant to small businesses. Here are just a few that caught my eye:
· Marketing Through PR – Starr Hall explains how to leverage public relations to build your brand.
· Run Your Business From Anywhere – Kevin Royalty offers tips on getting away from the office so you can go where the sales are.
· Finance and the Small Business Owner – Louis Barajas suggests ways to get your business on sound financial footing.
· Building Customers for Your Startup – Maria de Lourdes Sobrino explains how to build a customer base from scratch.
And, for more information about Office Live Small Business, catch the online presentations by our own David Alexander, senior product manager, at 12:45 p.m. PDT on Monday, March 24, and again at 9:45 a.m. PDT on Thursday, March 27.
I know the folks putting on this event, and I know it will be top-notch. For all the details, including when the event will be broadcast live in your area and how to register for free, visit the Summit home page.
