The home page of my Web site was pretty bland. It had all the right words about my real estate business and my property listings, but didn’t really catch anyone’s eye. I tried putting the picture of a particular listing on my page, but I’ve got pretty quick turnover in my business, and it was a pain to make sure that the picture always showed a current listing.
I have all my pictures on my product list page on my Web site. I was looking for a way to combine the pictures and rotate through them automatically on my home page. And I really wanted the pictures to get updated automatically.
Now I’ve found the secret to create this display and put it on my Web site – Microsoft Popfly! Popfly is a free Internet tool that makes creating little mashups, like a picture carousel and my images, as easy as playing with building blocks.
My home page now displays pictures of my property listings in the way I imagined.
