Date&Time Field

Within my NEW workspace I'm creating a Time In and Time Out with a Total of Time spent. When I edit the field "Start" or even "END" I do not see an option where I can just specify the time only format ex: 00:00 am/pm without including the date portion. So I've decided to use the one where you select the date and time format. I know how to do it in Excel but this no. Is there a way that I can just enter the time and calculate the time spent on that particular property? Fields are =Sum[Start]-[End]*2   (The 2 is the number of people that were at the property for a [Total]. Any Sugesstions?

Re: Date&Time Field

You should be able to set up a Custom List either with / without Datasheet depending on how you prefer to edit which has fields (columns) for Start, End, No of People, Time Spent and Total. The Time Spent and Total columns will need to be set up using the Calculated field definition and refer to other columns.

Re: Date&Time Field

Under "Create Column" the "Date & Time" data type is limited to either "Date Only" or "Date & Time". Is there a way to customize data types to only calculate "Time"?  I currently have my column "Start" set to "Date & Time" since there is no "Time Only" data type, the same for the "End" column. My formula under the calculated data type "Total" is: =[Start]-[End], the result is shown only in the date which is not the result I want. Is there any templates out there that calculates only "Time" like a Time Card for Employee's. I looked under Time Manager and did not see one. I would think at least under Time Manager or Employees Application Templates they would have a Time Card Application. I Need HELP on this Anyone pleasssssssssssse respond.
