Inventory managment with Store manager?

If Store manager has no way to manage inventory, what can I use to do so? I want to get away from selling on ebay, because the fees are killing me. I sell custom models of farm machinery and semi trucks and may only have one or two of each item. I don't want 12 people coming onto my site and buying 12 of the same thing before I could go on and delete the item after it has sold. If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate them.

Also, does anybody have any idea when this feature may be available with Store Manager?

Thanks,

Mac

Re: Inventory managment with Store manager?

Hi Mac,

As you've noticed, at this time Store Manager does not support inventory managment. However it is high on our priority list and we will be working on it in a future release. We have not yet determined when this feature will be available but your feedback, and the feedback of the other merchants posting to this forum helps us to decide which features to build and when to build them. Sorry that I don't have a more immediate solution for you.

Thank you for your feedback,

- Mike

Re: Inventory managment with Store manager?

Please add me to the list of comments. We use Office Accounting as our inventory/accounting software. We could use pay pal in OA or OL for cc processing online sales but neither work together. This is very frustrating, even more is that pay pal is the only option. We have used the same cc processor since 1992 and would be very hesitant to change. That said, if store manager integrated with OA inventory we could use pp as our site cc processor and adjust our prices to cover the cost of having 2 providers.

seems that OL is not built for brick and mortar stores that have an online sell site to integrate these sales into, or the how to documentation is not clear on how to use Office Live with our Microsoft software, very frustrating!
