I am experiencing that problem also.  I am experimenting with HotMail Live (free edition) to see if it is usable for business purposes.  A lot of the test email's I send to my Gmail or Yahoo mail and even to MS Outlook on my PC wind up in the spam filter.  I dont think this was because of the title nor content of the messages.

1. Is Microsoft working with Symantec and other providers to have the .LIVE domain recognized as legitimate in spam filters?

2. does this also happen after one gets a business domain name and uses it to send messages?

Hello al_olston:

The problem exists more with free e-mail accounts than with e-mail that have their own domain name plus many people have their filters set to ZERO tolerance white list only. what you do for a new customer is just have them add you to their contact list and your mail will make it through. with both the domains I have on office live I don't have this issue with eighter of them.
