More SEO questions

Hi all, Two more SEO questions for the experts please.

Should keywords be separated by just a comma, or a comma and space, or does it not matter?

If I am trying to reach out to people searching for an investment adviser in Hitchin or St Albans or London etc, will it be sufficient to have "investment adviser" as one keyphrase and "Hitchin" "St Albans" and "London" as other keywords and the search engines somehow pull them all together or do I need to have "investment adviser Hitchin" and "investment adviser St Albans" etc as keyphrases.? If it is the latter, it will be so much more difficult to have all the keyphrases show on the web pages which freewebsubmission.com seem to rate as being desirable.

Hello Focused2:

For me it is like a golfer that has a good round so from them on he always wears the same lucky shirt when playing (comma and space) as far as listing the keywords together or separately I do both just keeping in mind not to use the same word weightier together or separately more than 5 times. Concerning the web site analyzer on freewebsubmissions it checks the relevance of the keywords and description to the text content of the page that I have found very useful in custom designing the way the search engine see and list my sites. Another program that I use and have found useful is a program called Copernic Agent:

It lets me set markers on my competitor’s websites that notifies me whenever they update their pages

Re: More SEO questions
I use a comma and a space with my molsb website. Some places do not require a space. You want to have less than 10 keywords that closely related to your content. Your targets should be like, "investment, adviser, investment adviser, hitchin, st albans, london" You could even put in financial planning, or financial consulting if they are in your websites content. Search engines look at a few things. Your meta tags & description, your content, and your page rank. The most relevant website with the highest page rank will be first on the results page. So write your content around your meta tags, meta description, title, page description or vise a versa. You want them all to be as relevant as possible. Good Luck.

Re: More SEO questions

Thanks Colatax. I have used Freewebsubmission.com and this is similar. What is confusing is the outcomes from the two sites. Just two examples:

www.focusedfinancialplanning.co.uk/investment.aspx gets a keyword rating of 89% from freewebsubmission and only 47% from submitexpress.

www.focusedfinancialplanning.co.uk/lifestylefinancialplanning.aspx gets 95% from freewebsubmission and only 29% from submitexpress

Am I missing something here?

Kind regards

Hello focused2:

You will notice slight differences between the keywords that the two analizers detect, that is what is causing the differences in the results (the algorythms are slightly different). Here is yet a third analizer you can try http://www.highforce.com/metatag/meta-tags.html

Re: More SEO questions
I tried all three on my site http://colatax.com and got the same result 3x 100% :) Get 'em. But on a serious note at least they are all correct when they see 100% relevance. Figure what your target keywords are. Create your meta tags under 10 is good. Then write a meta description using them all, if possible. Then edit your content on your site. Instead of changing up use the same thing. Example I am a bit redundant when I state "tax preparation" I could be saying "tax returns" and change up my text a bit that way. But it takes away from keywords. Also I use bulletins and state all my services as well put them in a paragraph. That way I add to my keyword density even more. Also don't forget to use your Alt= " " tags when placing images on your site.
