Re: How to get into my site for editing

Royster,

Okay, I tried that, but on the "Access denied" page there is no link for "Request Access." Nowhere. I looked hard for it thinking that I was going blind. But it's not there. Now what?

I'm convinced that I must have been using a different password or different email address and it won't recognize anything but one of those. The office online program offers a number of email addresses and I recall picking two or three. I never used them because I had my own, but it is possible that I used one of those and now can't recall what it is (it's been a year or two since I've updated the page, can you tell?). But even if I could find the old email addresses (and I think I can) I never actually used them. So if I could find a way for it to recognize the email and let me reset my password, it would then send the link for a new password to my old unused email address and I don't have a password to get into that to find the link.

This is kind of a catch twenty-two.

Any more tips?

Hi Stan,

I, too, am very certain that you used a different account to register for your Office Live site.  You really need to find out the account that you used.  Those accounts can be reset via the Windows Live ID login (http://login.live.com/) - click on forgot password.  You may need to reset a few accounts before you hit the right one.  After you reset the password via Windows Live ID, you will need to check each one by logging into Office Live (make sure you are signed in with the proper Live ID). However, before you can do a password reset, you need to provide certain information.

Indeed, this is a tough situation, but try my suggestion above and see how it goes.

You need to login with the StanDuncan@jubileejustice.com account.

StudioAllen,

THAT DID IT! I tried to login using that email address, then played around with a half dozen passwords and finally stumbled upon the right one (one which I used to use with a previous program years ago).

But how did you know that email address? I don't think I knew it. Where did you run across it? I'm sure you found it on the web page somewhere?

With the domain you provided me, I looked it up in the whois database what the admin email address was.
