inserting keywords

Hi guys,  I am new to this but I am trying to find a way of inserting keywords into my web page. The problem seems to be that through this Office Live Small Business, the only way to do it is to use the adword section but that means you have to pay. Not working at present I have to be very careful about my monies and I thought this offer of a free web site was too good to miss, however, If I have to pay for keyword insertion, then it defeats the object of a "free web site.

Anybody able to advise please.

 Bill.

Re: inserting keywords

I think you are a little confused, you don't need to use Ad-words and you would probably better if didn't.  You can enter keywords by going to Page Properties in the Page Editor, then go to the SEO tab.

Re: inserting keywords

The first post gave great directions on how to apply meta tags and a meta description. Both your tags and description should be packed with your keywords. Keywords should be your target words. They should also be in your pages content as well as the title and header of your main page. Search engines use relevance and page rank when determining search results.

Your keywords should be under 10! To many will bring down your relevance.  http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ Is a great tool to optimize your keywords aim for 100% with title, description, and keywords. Use http://www.google.com/trends to find which keywords get searched more than others by comparing them.

 Good luck.
