I attempted to forward my officelive emial to my blackberry device.  According to the message I received, I can only forward my officelive email to other microsft email accounts such as hotmail, msn, etc.  Is this true? or Has anyone discovered a way to forward officelive email to a BB?

That is correct. If you would like to forward to any address, you will need to upgrade your email to the premium plan. However, if you upgrade to the premium plan, then you can just set your blackberry to check for the hotmail account directly because you will have POP access with the premium plan already. So there is no need to forward the emails once you do have the premium plan.

Microsoft have said taht they will release a Windows Live Hotmail client for Blackberry devices this summer, so you will have a way to check your account even wtihout having a premium plan.

Hi All,

Getting really confused with whether or not I can get my Office Live emails to work with my Blackberry and would appreciate it if someone could clarify. Is anyone out there using there Blackberry to respond to Office Live emails (push)?

I understand that I could access my mail through www.hotmail.com for a pull solution and this way I can reply with the respective email address (i.e. if email was sent to info@ingredientwizard.com I could reply as such). Is this correct?

Would the best solution currently available at the moment be to set up my various Office Live Email accounts (info@, quality@, sales@ etc) to redirect to a new Windows Live Hotmail Plus account (would this be a ###.###@hotmail.com style account) which I understand provides POP3 access ($19.95 per year) and then set this hotmail plus account up on the Blackberry. What address would Emails sent from my Blackberry then have and can I change this to my general business email - info@ingredientwizard.com?

Also, does anyone have news on when Microsoft and RiM are going to get their acts together? On all the forums I have read about integrating Office Live mail with your Blackberry the general consensus seems to be to move away from Office Live. This can not be good for Office Live as Blackberry is now one of the leading business handset suppliers.

Just thought I'd update you and let you know that Office Live mail integrates seemlessly with Blackberries. I know have all my Office Live mail accounts on my Blackberry and it was identical set up to POP3 accounts - just type in email address and password and there you have it. The only difference between my POP3 account and the Office Live email was that MSN terms and conditions stipulate that you must re-confirm your password every 90 days but other than that all great!

Hi.  I would like to forward my OfficeLive email to my personal email account, which is through Thunderbird.  Will upgrading to Windows Live Plus allow me to do this?  Will it also allow my employees to do the same with their OfficeLive email accounts?  Thanks very much,  ~LK
