Gary, thanks for jazzing up my banner! I wish I could get the lettering to be clearer but no matter what I use it comes out distorted. (much like my photo's, crisp and clear until I upload them and put them out on my site).
I was thinking about what you said above, and just don't know how I could make any of your ideas work for me. I could send out an email offering 20% off my jewelry for the next 36 hours but then I'd have to go in and manually change the prices on about 130 items. (then change them back a few days later.) I have heard about refunding the discount but frankly I'd be skeptical about that if I were a customer, so I don't see that as a viable solution for me. I think I'll give it till the end of the year and then I'll have no choice but to give up Store Manager and try to list my products and use PayPal buttons. The thought of all that work is overwhelming but I can't afford the cost of the site. I got ripped off at my last show, bad check, found out it was stolen, I got to view my first police lineup this last weekend to try to pick out the person who has been forging checks on and off for almost a year. I only lost about $30 from that customer but add that to the $36 my bank charged me for the chargeback ($6 for the chargeback and $30 for overdrawing my account) so although it was only $66 it was very painful.
I will continue to hit these blogs for suggestions on what I can possibly do the turn this around and make my site produce. Always appreciate the great advice I find here.
