Microsoft Office Live Small Business Community

I am interested in seeing what other people have done with their Microsoft Office Live Small Business websites.  I need inspiration to make mine better without hiring a professional.  Mostly, I would like to see people's websites that have used only what MOLSB has to offer, meaning used their templates, applications, etc.  I know the websites are scattered throughout the forum, but just trying to get them in one place.  Also, if you have had success, with website traffic, SEO, adManager etc., pelase let me know.   Thanks for everyone's help.

A good place to start your quest is the Masters Forum.  Here is one site there:  http://officelivepages.com/default.aspx.  Click on "Best Sites" and "Link Exchange" and you will find dozens of sites using the basic tools.

I should also mention http://oldesigntips.com/default.aspx.  Not only does this site do interesting things with the built-in tools, it shows you how to do them.

For beginners: Getting started with OLSB.

Hello, I finally got my site up and running, so here's a link for it.  www.stonebear.net.  The only thing I used that wasn't supplied by Office Live is my graphics, and of course my product pictures.  I might add however, that I have never been a genious where computers are concerned let alone make my own website.  There are literally tons of hosts out there on the www, but I am so glad that I went with Office Live!  All I had to do was put in the Information I wanted in my web site, and Office Live had everything else I needed.  You have one very happy site owner here!  Thanks for everything!!  Please let me know what you think of my site, feedback makes a HUGE difference!!  Janet

Hello LG:

You paypal verified seal didn't work and neighter did your hacker safe seals. Some people say it is no big deal but others will not use your e-commerce solution without having a secure connection (SSL) or at least being able to check it before checkout. even my lame donate button here in the community is a Secure SSL connection that you can check the certificate on.

Thankyou for the information, I did not know it wasn't working.   I do not know why its not working, but the shopping cart is sucure because I tested it by putting a item in the cart and proceeding to checkout and https:// + the padlock picture is desplayed.

I created my site with what OL provides as tools for the most part. I did use some of the generators and other gadgets you can find info on here. I didn't use any developer specific tools. First time ever taking on anything like this and I believe it's quite apparent. Best of luck to you.
