How to find the exact color of an object on your screen/webpage?

Have you ever wanted to find out the color of an object that you see on your screen or webpage? Maybe you would like to find out and use it on your Office Live website? A very easy way to do this is to use Instant Eyedropper, a free tool that lets you find out the color code of any pixel displayed on your screen. It loads into your system tray and all you need to do is click on it and drag it to the pixel you want to find the hexademical color code to. It's a great utility that should be in every web designer's toolbox!

Cool . . . I'm going to add that to my IE browser.  Or is it a Windows program?

I already use the Firefox add-on called ColorZilla (available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/271) which displays both hexadecimal and rgb formats for whatever you hover over...but not the little zoomed-in pixelated image that Instant Eyedropper shows, which is a nice feature.

Thanks Royster!
