MM (Microsoft Moment) we said to reply but forgot to tell you replying actually don't work.  You got to love it when they tell you send screen shots as well, can't send them either.

Its bladdy frustrating. The support staff have obviously been trained - but the system doesnt work the way they have been told it does. lol. - Typical.

I wonder how many more weeks I have to wait now to shuffle my pages around. :-(

I'm using internet explorer and still having the same problem with trying to edit navigation pages and delete pages. It's coming up with the same message as you.

Still a problem as far as I know, at least for deleting.  Haven't tried renaming in a while.

Strange just tried it myself, you can't delete a page that isn't on the navigation, but as soon as you put on the navigation you can delete it!

I got a reply from Support.  Have tried it all and it doesnt work..... ive already gone back to them!

Generally, these issues are due to certain internet browser settings and/or cached files. Below are steps on how to optimize your Internet Explorer browser for using our service properly.

1.     Open Internet Explorer browser

2.     In the top right hand corner click "Tools"

3.     In the dropdown menu it generates click "Internet Options"

4.     In the Internet Options pane click "Delete History" under "Browsing History" section of the "General" tab.

5.     This will generate a new pane; click "Delete" button next to "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies"; close this side pane.

6.     In "Privacy" tab click "Default Level" (if grayed out no action is required)

7.     In "Security" tab click "Default Level" (if grayed out no action is required)

8.     In "Advanced" tab click "Restore Advanced Settings" (if grayed out no action is required)

9.     Click "Apply" and "OK"; close Internet Options pane; close all Internet Explorer browsers.

10.  Your Internet Explorer is now optimized for Microsoft Office Live

Often times security programs can interfere with connectivity to Microsoft Office Live. Try disabling the following programs should they apply to you.          

1.     Pop-up Blockers

2.     Anti-Virus

3.     Firewalls

4.     Spyware Protection

If this issue still persists we would need more information to make an accurate diagnosis. It would be very helpful if you could provide us with the following information to help further our investigations of this issue.

DONE THIS AND IT WORKS

Open an Internet Explorer window

2.    Type in your domain or web address

3.    navigate to the page you want to re-create / re-name

4.    Left click and drag the curser over the information you want to copy until it's all highlighted

5.    Hold Ctrl + C to copy Or right click and select Copy

6.    Open note pad or Microsoft Word 2003/2007

7.    Hold Ctrl + V Or right click on the page and select Paste

8.    Go to Officelive.com

9.    Click Sign In on the top right corner

10. Enter in user name and password and sign in

11. Click Web Site

12. Click Design Site

13. Click Design Site again

14. The Site Designer should open in a new window

15. Click on Web Pages in the top left hand corner

16. Click New Page

17. Select the template that fits best for the page you are creating / recreating

18. Type in the Page Title, the same Page Title that is listed in the previous page's properties

19. Type in the Web Address, the same Web Address that is listed in the previous page's properties

20. Check the box  "Overwrite Existing Page:"

21. Type in the Navigation Title, the same Navigation Title that is listed in the previous page's properties

22. Select the parent page in this case you will want to keep it the same as the previous page and then you can go into the page properties and edit where you want the page to be located

23. Click Finish

24. Go back to note pad or Microsoft Word 2003/2007

25. Hold Ctrl + C to copy Or right click and select Copy

26. Go back to the Site Designer and Navigate to the new page you re-created

27. Hold Ctrl + V Or right click on the page and select Paste

28. Click Save on the top right corner

The only thing I would suggest is that you dont open Word.  Keep the copy on your clipboard and paste it to your new page from there.  Its faster and a whole lot easier in the long run.  Dont exit when you have pasted your page or you will lose it and have to start that particular page from scratch.  Hope this helps..... let me know how you get on.

Well progress, I can now add a new page, however I can not add it to the navigation.
So now my website will be littered with oprhan pages.

Not to worry though,cuz an office live workspace has been created for me.
That is what I will tell my customers.

Wonder if it will be just as productive as the website manger is?

 remember though lol all you really have to do is take your time when doing it at first when i experimented with the web editor. I found out quickly i had to do it 1 at a time when changing the pages of my site but in the end i got what i wanted. All you really have to is take ur time when working on your site

Yes I have been getting this error for the past two weeks. I simply want to change the name of the title of a page and it basically does what you say. SO FRUSTRATING.

Its driving me INSANE!!!! why is it taking so long to fix Microsoft???? - Its really a big problem. I cant see new users sticking with your product if they cant move pages around and delete pages etc.

 I'm now getting this error too when I try delete pages.
