You’ve put together a really interesting Web site. And you’re right, someone could put their feet up and spend hours on it!
A few things occurred to me as I clicked here and there.
First is, how serious are you about selling your patriotic merchandise? If that's just a second thought, then how you present it probably works fine. But if you’re in this to make money, it seems like you might want to put a little more emphasis on the fact that you’ve got merchandise that people can purchase to show their pride in America. When I landed on your Home page, I scrolled right past the section that talked about your store because it didn’t stand out from all of the other sections and wasn't highlighted in the intro text.
Then when I did notice the store, I browsed around and picked out a few items –but got way into the process without knowing what payment system you use or getting any indication how secure information I share with your site would be. People are pretty nervous about that kind of thing.
The second suggestion is to go through and clean up spelling errors. You’ve got things like “Puzzels” instead of “Puzzles” and Declaration of “Independance” instead of “Independence” on your Home page headlines.
Finally, as a site visitor I guess I’d like to know who you are. The content and way you’ve structured your site reveal a lot of personal beliefs and I think people will probably want to know who they belong to. You've got an About Us page, but it doesn't really provide any information about who's behind the site.
Anyway, those are just a few observations. You've put a lot of work into the site and it definitely shows. Good luck!
