 Until recently I was able to type some basic html code directly onto my pages to my anchors to hyperlink to but when I try to do it now the code is showing and before it didn't. Does anyone know what could be going on? It worked before. I used the directions at http://solutionsforofficelive.com/creatinganchors.aspx

I just updated it, the new method should work.

When I tried this it didn't work. When I create the hyperlink and click website the only thing I put in the box is #anchorname1 for the location of the website and nothing else or do I include the web address of the page along with the #anchorname1

Nope, just the #anchor.  You don't need to include the page name.

That is how I did it when the anchor didn't work. Any ideas what is going on?

Do you have the hyperlink and the anchor correct?

There's something wrong with your link?  Should look something like: <a href="#PointstoUnderstandAboutPointsonLoans"></a> without the additional url/page name.  Did you use the hyperlink tool to create the link?

 Yes I used the hyperlink tool and I only typed #PointstoUnderstandAboutPointsonLoans.

The other links work fine that I did the old way but not this one.

 If I ever get this working will it only go to the bottom of the page, because each week I add a new tip so the tips move up on the page as I add a new one.

The last three aren't working because the anchors are not present?

Do I place this on the page where I want to be directed in the link?

It'll work, but your really don't need all that code, just <a name="PointstoUnderstandAboutPointsonLoans"></a> will do.

I am sorry I can't get this to work, but I just copied what you wrote"<a name="PointstoUnderstandAboutPointsonLoans"></a>"

and put it in a HTML box where I typed the title for the tips and it didn't work. Is that what I should have done?
