The site looks good, maybe a little redundant since the commercial and residential pages seem similar...do you have any photos of work you have completed or references?  if so I'd add those . also i am not sure if you actually do the work or refer it to someone else. that is something i would like to know as a potential customer. i would also remove the catering aspect...nothing to do with the rest of it which is construction based... unless you are trying to get a home helper type service going so i guess I'm not totally clear as to what your site is really offering.

Your Web site is bright and clean looking – and has a nice attitude to it. But I think there are a few things you could do right away to make it work better for you –and potential customers.

Starting on the Home page, I’d call out the geographic areas you serve high up on the page and I’d also find a way to bump up the list of services so they appear higher on the page. A two column format might make that easier to do.

I’d also work on spacing your text a little more consistently. There’s a lot of empty space at the top of your page and again after your fax number, but the introductory text is kind of a jumble of lines that are heavy and close together and don’t seem to flow very well. (Plus in your first line after the headline, there’s no reason to capitalize “Takes.”)

I also think you could make your header a little more effective by making the second line a smaller font size than the one above it, and maybe getting rid of “Welcome to” and just putting the name of your business on the first line.

Something that confused me a bit is the “We do bathrooms, kitchens and basements.” Does that mean you won’t paint my dining room or replace a light in my bedroom? I assume it means you’ll remodel bathrooms, kitchens and basements, but I think you should be clear about that.

The other thing that I think is missing is an About Us page that tells me how long you’ve been in business, whether you’re licensed, and basically why I should choose your company over all the others out there. It might help to include a few testimonials from happy customers too.

Last point would be to get a custom domain name that someone might actually be able to remember – I think www.absolutelyawesomehomeservices.com would be better than what you’ve got, even though it's long.

Best of luck with your business!

Liz
