To make sure my website is functioning the way I want it to I go online to my site just like a customer would. I pretended I was looking for a product that I know is featured in my store so rather than look through each page I went to the search button and typed in the name of the product that I knew was posted there. To my horror the search engine ripped me right out of my website and handed me the first page of an internet search for 56 million of my competitors!!!! Needless to say I immediately removed the search capability from my website. I want my customers to be able to search MY website for MY products and buy from ME. I don't want them coming to my site and then handed over on a silver platter to everyone else BUT me.
