Hello all, I want to know, what is the best way to create html forms? What are the best websites to create html forms or can I create html forms on officelive.com?

Re: HTML FORMS

Try the following:

  1. Enable Business Applications
  2. Clicking on the team workspace that is provided (Left Navigation)
  3. This is a Windows SharePoint Services applicaiton team workspace
  4. Within the main navigation click on the +add icon and create a new custom list
  5. Type in a name, description and then click on "OK"
  6. In the toolbar click on Settings > Create Column
  7. Columns = Input fields so create as many columns as you need for the type of inputs you need on your form.
  8. Once you are happy with your form simply go back to your website
  9. Click on site actions and enable advanced design features
  10. Either create a new page or go to the page that you want the form to be on and click on a web zone.
  11. Under the page editor click on Module > Form Designer
  12. Under Application Choose Team Workspace
  13. Under List choose the custom list that you just created
  14. From here you will be able to choose which column you want to display in your form
  15. If you click on layout you will be able to choose a design of your form
  16. Then click on "OK"
  17. Now that you have your form on your page you can always right click on it to update the list if you have added a column or two or to change the style.

Let me know if that helps?

An example of this would be found here: http://coderightdesign.com/Services.aspx

Re: HTML FORMS

Hi,

I have converted my account to use "third-party Web design software" (plain old handwritten html code) so that I could copy and paste my existing html pages into my folder.  Can I still access this Contact Us module to create html forms?  If so, how do I get to it?  Right now, I can't find the Contact Us module to even evaluate it and I think it's because I've done the conversion.

I actually have html coded forms that are ready to go.  Can I use them?  I just need to know what to enter for processing of the output so that it can be sent to my email address...the ASP Form-Mailer or CGI file name.

 Thanks. Barbara

Re: HTML FORMS

 No,

Once you have activated third-party design tools, you lose all the module capabilities.

Try JotForm or Wufoo to design a nice looking form.
