Hi all,

 

Can someone please tell me what these are?,

also:

  1. How do you add them?
  2. Where do you add them?
  3. do i need them?
  4. what exactly do i have to add?

Hello David:

 

the default setting for Robots is All, Index, Follow so unless there are areas of your website that you do not want indexed (listed on the search engines) these are not needed. Same thing applys to Google webmaster Tools Validation and sitemap.xml the only way they are needed is if your site is so messed up that is the only way the search engines can index your website. having a good title for your pages with keywords and description is all that is needed.

Do i need to add keywords to everypage of my site? or just the home page?

Add a revelent page title. keywords, and a description to every page, you will laugh when I tell you what is the most powerful component of a office live website, it is those ugly blue and purple text link urls.

Thanks again for your info, I knew it would have been easier to get someone to do this for me. lol
