I've been working on my website for about 2 month now and it seems like its never going to get done.  Could someone take a look at it and tell me what they think. http://www.fashionchest.net

Re: New site

I like it. The main picture on the front is great. I think that you should move the links at the bottom of the home page into a links page. Also, maybe add more pictures per page when looking through the swimsuits. There's only 12 at a time and there is 12 pages. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

Re: New site

The site layout is attractive, the pics are crisp and well laid out, and navigation is easy. I like the book style layout on the magazine page, although it would be better if you could increase the load time on it. It took me about 5 seconds to load it on a fast cable connection, so anyone on dialup or dsl will probably not wait for it to load. Now for the negatives....

1. Noticed misspelling of "customers" in the last line of the About Us page.

2. Term and Conditions link should match the title of that page. Suggest adding the s to make it "Terms"

3. Finish the FAQ page or make it non-navigable. It still has the default questions/answers in it.

4. The Affiliates page has too many different sizes of font. The huge headings with small text gives me a headache. Try to standardize it with the rest of your site.

5. Link directory has list of categories, and it looks like it's meant for link exchanges, but it doesn't have anything clickable even though it says (1) for clothing and accessories.

6. Lose the tab for "Web Design". You're trying to promote a bunch of clothing and showing off really good looking women. Offering web design information is so out of sync with the rest of the site that it just ruins the whole theme. It just doesn't work.

7. Offer a way back to your home page. The only way I saw to get back to your home page is to go through one of the subheadings and then click "Home", which is so small as to be almost unreadable. Most people won't notice that, so offer a separate tab for it.

8. You need a way to contact you. Other than becoming an affiliate or getting a quote for web design, I saw no interaction or method of communication.

9. I'm sure you want "wholesale" to be a keyword, and yes it is important to have it appear several times, but keep it realistic. Not every other word in a long sentence. You have it so many times in the homepage that I actually just started skipping paragraphs because I was tired of seeing the word on the page.
