And I would have, once upon a time, suggested that to minimize startup cost; play poker online. Let's compare:
1 - All the software you will need you can download free. Not for a "free trial" FREE
2 - Sign up is a snap; a username of your choice, if it not already in use. And a password(don't spread it around.)
I have a domain name I have never used. It does not rate well with the search engine. ManureSpreader is preferred.
I can't dump it, therefore, I assume it will be around long after I am gone.
3 - You can lose all the Play Money it takes to learn the game of poker.
It does not take Real Money to shake hands with the real Pros. You FREEROLLEM. In Poker FREE means free.
It does not mean free trial lasting until sometime you can't remember at which time it NEVER WAS FREE !
But, in Poker, if you place in the money in a freeroll tournament, your account gets paid real money.
4 - Random Number Generators (computer programs) deal the cards at online poker tables. The object is a random product
that cannot be predicted in advance.
(Black Widow)(poisonous) Spiders crawl the web searching for keywords (goodies that turn them on). Since they are spiders
they do not answer to reason beyond that which the trainers build into the "performance mold". One thing is for sure; if those
critters ever tire of the WWW we are in for some scarry times. Consider the numbers they stack up every part of the day or
night. Those in the know tell us folks don't look much past the first ten or so. which leaves the mass hanging and of no possible
current or future purpose (please explain to me why anyone should consider trying to one up the "notables" and "instant millionaires"
you find near the top of any list but that infested by losers.
The day I get smart enough to show up on a keyword money list, I'll probably be smart enough to write a disclaimer
