I think there’s a lot of great stuff going on with your site … and it looks like you’ve been very thorough about providing all the information folks need. I’ve seen other sites offering similar services, but I think you do a nice job presenting your concepts.
That said, there are a couple of things I would suggest:
1. In some places the images or text kind of fade into your backgrounds because they’re so dark. For instance, your logo doesn’t really pop out of your header – neither do the words. Same is true where you’re putting black type on the dark gray background. It’s a bit difficult to read.
2. If you know a good copy editor you might ask them to go over your site and tidy it up. I noticed enough little errors that I think it would be worthwhile. For example, that first paragraph on your Home page. The sentence that begins: Your Life Event DVD will be the talk … you’re missing the word “of” after talk.
3. Rather than repeating the same ideas you have in your intro text again at the bottom of the Home page, I think it might be more useful to give people a quick idea of how your service works – maybe in a brief numbered list. Something like 1) Gather your photos. 2) Select a theme. 3. Choose your music. 4. Pick a background … and so on.
Anyway, those are a couple thoughts for you. I hope you have lots of success; it looks like a nice business and your prices seem pretty reasonable.
