Microsoft Office Live Small Business Community

Hi Guys,

I've got a domain name with 1&1 and I can redirect it to me Office Site (Done the DNS stuff too) but it simply points to the site and the URL's remain in the office formwat i.e. Emilyb.sites etc...

My domain is www.cardiffnetball.co.uk (it's pointing to another site at the moment) - when i launch my site properly how do I make the URL's read www.cardiffnetball.co.uk/results etc... rather than waffly office URLs?

Emily,

You will need to make your domain www.cardiffnetball.co.uk the primary domain. Go to Account Settings->Domain Manager. You will see a link for making your domain cardiffnetball.co.uk primary.

I added the domain to my OL account and got an email from Microsoft saying it 'Redelegation Completed' but on my domain manager page it is still saying 'Redelegation Pending' and I can't do anything with it. Am I right in thinking it can take 24-72 hrs and the email was just a *** up or is there something afoot?

Right on.You will need to wait for the Make Primary link to show up (should see it within 24 hours).

Hi, I am having similar problems! I can not figure out how to partially redirect my domain (with 1&1) to Office Small Bus. I haven't found the help section very useful either! Anyone know exactly how I go about this? (Assume I know nothing as I am clearly missing something!). I have tried to set up the DNS stuff on 1&1, but I am clearly putting somethign wrong in here as it keeps coming up with an error re the primary server I'm putting in, not being approved or long enough and therefore nto allowing me to save it. Any helps, gratefully received! Cheers, Ross
