Office Live Email - Failing miserably to meet demands of modern business users (A moan and plea for answers)

Unless I am missing something (if so I would really appreciate some assistance) I am stunned at the lack of flexibity of the Office Live service for email specifically for mobile users.

I have a Windows Mobile 6 device and bought it believing it would support my needs to work with Office Live. It does to an extent but I am getting increasingly frustrated. Yes I can access my mail via the Windows Live client. But it will only support one email account at a time. Like many other business's I would like to monitor my other accounts (sales@business_name.com, info@business_name.com etc)

There is a total lack of information and seeming understanding on all fronts as to if and how (or indeed why not) there will be support for pop, imap, exchange client etc access to live mail. How hard can it be?

Please someone (preferably Microsoft) give me some answers about plans to, or reasons not to, support this basic functionality.

Thanks

I have to agree.

I think Office Live is a nice concept, but it's an amalgam of disparate applications that don't really work well together.

I am just starting a new company and have been testing the solution - there are so many weaknesses as compared to say, deploying a Small Business Server2008 solution.  But for many small businesses, onpremise SBS or other solutions do not make sense - thus the hosted approach could work - but not in this form.

I can not believe that I can't create an appointment with a reminder.  I can't belive that if i go into Hotmail, I can't invite an attendee to an appointment.

The best thing about Office live is the integration between WSS and internet - if you understand the capabilities of the workspaces, this could be a valuable tool; but for PIM activities, this is severly lacking.
