I cannot access my web site folder.

I am operating on Windows XP, not Windows Vista, and I am still having trouble accessing my web site folder now that I have activated the third party design tools.  I have downloaded everything, however, I am having trouble getting one of the files to install.  I believe it is called MOLWFC.  It begins installation but then ceases due to what it says is an error.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my question, but earlier today, my fiance (who also has an office live account), had already downloaded these files in order to access his web site folder.  He had no trouble at all and his website folder is still resting in the Network Places folder on our computer but mine is nowhere to be found.  I have been trying for almost an hour now but to no avail.  Help me maintain my sanity!

empressive: not sure if you have put a lot of work already; have you tried re-enabling the standard tools and then re-activating the third party? this would do away with anything you have done for site design)

well I'll tell you ..I've tried that a couple dozen times....have loaded all the text in the Doc.lib. and all the pictures in the picture lib...just can't get anything to be in the Web site folder..should I put everything in a documents file and copy and paste??? that will take a bit of time.....there should be  simple instructions on up loading from a disk with a web site on it..to make a site...sorry something is just not working here...by the way..the disk is from dish network...everything looks to be there....I've loaded the connector because I have XP...when I click web site folder..I get my computer with E: drive with the disk and everything on it..but how do I get it to upload???

Re: I cannot access my web site folder.

I'm having similar issues.  I can open the website folder but can't add files, edit filenames, add folders, etc.  Everything I try to do creates an error so it looks like I have no access!!  Very frustrating!

Regarding your problem though, I did notice that as you set up the thrid party tools option it ties your office live account to your windows login.  Do you use a separate account to log into windows?  If not, it is probably failing due to windows having your partners live account active?  Just an idea.

Good luck.

Drove me mad too so hope this helps!!
