Hmm, have never been a paying MSN subscriber and only got this to work (consistenty) by setting up a calendar in beta business applications a while back.

As the Owner of our site am trying to set some alerts, specific to email. May have missed it but can find no way to set an alert (while logged in to my account) when an email is recieved from another account.

The problem you describe occurs if you set up a new email address in OL and then immediately go to set it up on Outlook using the password you created when set up in OL.
