Add Task to Project Manager Not Working

This is one of two serious issues I am having today. The other is in a separate post Contact Sync Not Working. When I go to my task list in project manager and add a new task, it is NOT saved. I have tried adding it in datasheet view also, but to no avail. Very unhappy OL user today!
