Hi Elaine, Welcome. The best way to accomplish this is to use a image editing program like PhotoShop to scale down the size of your image to a reasonable size. If you don't have PhotoShop or some other Adobe Image editing product like Fireworks, I suggest you try GIMP for FREE .

Andrew, another approach is to put the photo into your document gallery. You will also get better resolution for it that way as well. How about putting a miniature thumbnail of the image on the page and making that the link to the larger photo in the document gallery?
